2021 Fall Festival at Cantigny Park

Oct 24, 2021

Pumpkin spice is in the air- unseasonably warm, 80 degree air. What a beautiful sunny day it was to, as a club, attend a Fall Festival. About 42 BMWs and their owners/family attended the event at Cantigny Park, who blocked off 2 whole rows of parking for Windy City BMW. Parking was a hot commodity at Cantigny, as they estimated about 7,000 cars would attend throughout the day. We appreciate Cantigny for their hospitality. Even people who weren’t with the club were drawn to all the Bavarians in the lot. Lots of festival goers were strolling over to check out all the cool cars. VP Nick picked up some coffee, donuts and munchkins for us to enjoy while we conversed with each other before going off to enjoy the festivities that Cantigny put on.
Cantigny Park is in Wheaton and has a ton of activities to offer including gardens, museums, dining options, picnic areas, hiking trails, and a whole park dedicated to military tanks that were used in WW1 through Desert Storm. Their Fall Festival offered a craft show, petting zoo, hay rides, live music, and so much more! Everyone who attended said they had a fantastic time! Thanks to our VP Nick Delboccio for organizing the gathering and special thanks to Cantigny Park and Magan Ascher for hosting us!
