2023 IMSA & Corral

We once again were invited to the Badger Corral at the outside of corner 14 at Road America.  We had parking, tent, tables and chairs, lunch, drinks and TV feed.  We also had 2 beautiful days on Saturday and Sunday.  There were 96 on Saturday and 83 on Sunday.  A total of $1483 was raised for charity.

On Saturday morning we had meetings with the Turner Team and then the RLL team.  The track was totally repaved at the end of last year so it is the same BUT very different.  You go off line and you will get yourself in trouble.  So passing was hard.  But after the 2 practice sessions, with many incidents, they figured it out so they had racing under green most of the race.  The RLL cars did not finish in GTP and both Turners cars did at positions 6 and 12 in GTD.   The Paul Miller team took first place and also started on pole in GTD.

When you are at the race track it is always nice to have a home base.  Next year the event is August 3 & 4.  Come up for one day or make it a weekend.  The surrounding area is beautiful.  Make it a long weekend and have fun.
