2021 Challenge Update – PLEASE READ

Some good news and, unfortunately, some bad news regarding the Challenge. As most of you are aware, the Challenge weekend typically kicks off with a dumpster party Friday night, a Test & Tune and Dinner Saturday night, and the autocross event for points on Sunday.

Let’s rip the Band-Aid off and do the bad news first. Unfortunately, Tire Rack will not be allowing any driving events or guests on Saturday this year. What does this mean? It means no Saturday Test & Tune, no BBQ lunch, no shoot out, and no Road Kill Grille dinner.

HOWEVER! Time for the good news.

First, we are allowed to have an event at Tire Rack on Sunday, and Windy City BMW Club will be returning to Tire Rack for competition in 2021!

Second, just because we can’t have fun at Tire Rack on Saturday doesn’t mean we can’t have fun! We did receive permission from the Super 8 to conduct our outdoor dumpster party, so we will be effectively replacing Saturday with what we typically do on Friday. Party will start at 3:00pm EST and grilled protein fare will be provided around 5:00pm EST for whoever would like to attend (likely burgers, brats, and hotdogs). As this is typically a potluck, if you would like to bring a dish to share, that would be greatly appreciated. Beverages are on your own!
