2023 Fall Cruise-THIS EVENT IS FULL

DATE: Sunday, October 15th

TIME: Meet at the starting location at 9:30am. We depart at 10am.

LOCATION: Elgin, IL to Jonamac Orchard, 19412 Shabbona Rd, Malta, IL

COST: FREE, must be a member. As much family as you can fit in your BMW is welcome!

If a driving tour is too long, or one-tank is too much, then here we have an even shorter option, a cruise! We are having a “fall cruise” to Jonamac Orchard in Malta, way out there in Dekalb County. Our starting location will be in Elgin and will take 50 miles of nice, hopefully “autumny” farm roads to our destination. The drive will take approximately an hour before we arrive at 11am.

This is meant to be a somewhat impromptu, low-key event. There is no reserved parking for Windy City BMW at the orchard and they are not “expecting us,” so park where there is space. An optional, secondary meeting afterwards will be lunch at a yet-to-be-determined restaurant in nearby DeKalb. Maybe the Lincoln Inn or Culvers?

Full details, including the starting location and the route will be sent out by email a few days beforehand. This is a member-only event so please do not share details with anyone once you get them. The meeting spot will be close to I90 so it should be easy to get to from anywhere.
