Autobahn Country Club HPDE 2019

This is our first event of the Year at at our “local” track, Autobahn Country Club, south of Joliet.

HPDE events are not racing. Cars on-track operate under strict “rules of engagement” which minimize the likelihood of dangerous encounters with other cars. Occasional off-track excursions into the grass are normally controlled stops, with track personnel and on-board instructors supervising a safe re-entry onto the track. Passing among participants is facilitated only within defined “passing zones”, and then only with clear hand signals and instructor confirmation.

This can be a learning event, so in-car instructors will be available for all drivers.  At the end of the event, instructors will provide a written evaluation of the drivers progress, drivers please provide a written evaluation of the instructor and of the overall event itself.

Each drivers run group will be scheduled for four track sessions per day, to provide approximately two hours of seat time.

We welcome virtually all makes and models – American, European, Asian…  We do have some limitations on convertibles and tall, tippy things, so if you have something like that, please check with us before registering for the event.
